Childhood Cancer Awareness Month

National Event Posted: Wednesday, September 9, 2020

Please join Goodall-Witcher Healthcare in recognizing September as Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, and symbolize it by wearing a gold ribbon. This annual international awareness month aims to raise support, funding and awareness of childhood cancers and the impact for sufferers and families of sufferers of childhood cancer.

Currently, approximately 363,000 children are living with cancer in the United States alone. One out of eight children with cancer will not survive. Every day, 36 children are diagnosed with cancer in this country. And approximately 250 kids around the world die each day from some form of cancer.

Goodall-Witcher Healthcare recognizes that awareness, education and support are vital, and we will be offering helpful information on those subjects throughout Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.
