About the Service

Modified barium swallow studies help evaluate swallowing disorders and guide effective treatment. These studies allow speech therapists to:

  • Pinpoint the cause and type of swallowing difficulties
  • Create individualized therapy plans
  • Offer care locally, reducing the need to travel for testing

Neuromuscular Electrical Stimulation is also available, provided by a certified VitalStim® clinician, to support improved swallowing function.
